Individual assignment – For this assignment I picked sustainable materials and designed a new product. I made a design of a folding chair where I combined the strength and smooth texture of EPMT (Elastomer Powder Modified Thermoplastics, consists of 80% recycled rubber and 20% thermoplastics) and the lightness and strength of bamboo.

Individual assignment – For this assignment I designed a busstop with C2C-certified materials. The sustainable materials I used are Primary Aluminum Alloy and PYRAN Platinum. In my design I combined the strength and lightness of the aluminum alloy parts and the strength and transparency of the safety glass. The bus stop consists of two connected single shelters. The reason for this is that it can hold twice as much people.

Individual project – I designed the housing of an interactive kiosk for seniors (IKS), and made an assembly of all its parts. This assembly was very detailed. I showed how the devices inside the kiosk are connected to the frame, how the frame is connected to the housing, etc. The IKS can be disassembled in a way it fits on Europallet (80 x 120 cm) for easy transport.
